What the deuce is a morning mind turd?

I told myself that in order to stay true to the "morning" part of this blog title, I would only post things on here during the butt-crack-o-dawn hours of the day. However–I have been taken down with a legit sickly cold, pushing me to dose up on nyquil, dayquil, and some other sorts of quils, leaving me in a terribly loopy state. Due to my temporary drunken mind, all attention to time has been officially postponed and, therefore, the fact that the clock says "PM" currently has lost all meaning and is irrelevant to this post.

With that out of the way, I will leap onward to the matter I felt necessary to discuss–the reason behind the title of this blog. First, it should be understood that I am not a twelve year old boy, nor do I possess the mind of one. I do not smirk and giggle, or think myself clever when I blurt out words like "turd!" or "Fart!" or any other words that would seem genially humorous to a twelve year old boy. So feel at peace that the title of this blog is not meant to be anything of that nature.

The phrase morning mind turds simply represents the plethora of random thoughts that pop into my head and often spill out vocally during the early hours of the morning. In fact, the phrase morning mind turds, itself, is a morning mind turd as it came to me in the wee hours of the day. Let one thing be clear–morning mind turds are more so random, whimsical, creative, even meaningless thoughts. So the things that are posted on this blog will be just that.

This is not to say that I am never struck with profound or completely meaningful thoughts in the early hours of the day. I am sure there have been occasions when I have sprung up in bed, tossed the covers aside, and proclaimed, "by jove! i've got it!" in regards to some deep concept or life question I had been wrestling with. In all seriousness, I do have an extremely deep and serious side to me. seriously. :) But such serious thoughts shall be found, or
documented elsewhere.

This blog is for the most part dedicated to the random, colorful, and sometimes odd spaces in my brain that all too often in the wee hours of the morning "turd" out their inner workings.
